Why is this card good?

Aftermath Analyst is a quietly powerful engine piece for landfall and reanimator-adjacent green decks. The ETB mill stocks your yard with lands, and the sac ability is a one-card mass land reanimation that snowballs hard. Why it's good: Returning all lands from your graveyard at once is an enormous landfall trigger and ramp burst. Pair it with [[Tatyova]], [[Aesi]], [[Lord Windgrace]], or any landfall payoff and you can untap with a board far ahead of where you started — especially if you've been self-milling or fetching/sacking lands. With [[Splendid Reclamation]] effects or a sac outlet plus reanimation, it loops. Who wants it: - Landfall/lands-matter decks (Windgrace, Omnath, Nissa). - Self-mill green decks with lots of fetchlands or land-sacrifice. - Decks running [[Crucible of Worlds]] or [[Ramunap Excavator]] synergies. When to skip it: If your deck doesn't mill, doesn't run extra fetches/sac-lands, and lacks landfall payoffs, the sac ability often just returns a couple basics — underwhelming. It needs setup to shine.
