Why is this card good?
All That Glitters is a deceptively explosive two-mana Aura that scales with your board, turning even a 1/1 into a game-ending threat in the right deck.
Where it shines:
- Enchantress decks (Sythis, Tuvasa, Eutropia) running tons of enchantments — easy +6/+6 or more.
- Artifact-heavy white decks (Urza-adjacent in Esper, or mono-white artifacts) where you flood the board with Treasures, mana rocks, and Equipment.
- Voltron/aura builds that want cheap, high-impact buffs to push commander damage.
The card is efficient because most decks running it already deploy artifacts/enchantments as part of their gameplan, so the buff is "free" — you're not building around it, you're rewarding what you're already doing.
When NOT to play it: Aura-light, artifact-light decks get almost nothing here, and like all single-target Auras, it carries inherent two-for-one risk — spot removal on the creature loses you both cards. Prefer it on hexproof/ward enablers or when you can afford the tempo gamble.
