Why is this card good?
A one-mana unblockable creature with every creature type — that combination is the entire selling point. Changeling Outcast isn't here to attack for damage; it's a cheap, evasive enabler that happens to be a Vampire, Zombie, Goblin, Wizard, Pirate, and everything else simultaneously.
That tribal flexibility makes it a staple in two archetypes:
- Voltron/equipment decks, where unblockable is exactly what you want to carry swords like Skullclamp or commander-damage payoffs.
- Tribal decks that need a body of a specific type, where it slots into any kit (Edgar Markov, Lathril, etc.) and benefits from anthems and lords.
It's also a clean ninjutsu enabler — connect, then bounce it back to deploy a Ninja.
Skip it in decks that don't care about creature types and don't want a tiny attacker — it does nothing on defense (can't block) and contributes no real board presence on its own. It's purely a utility/enabler card, not a threat.
