Why is this card good?

The premier green finisher. Craterhoof turns any developed board into lethal damage out of nowhere. With even five other creatures, it pumps your whole team +6/+6, grants trample, and swings immediately thanks to haste — that's frequently 40+ damage spread across the table. It doesn't just win, it wins now, ending games before opponents can stabilize. Who wants it: any go-wide green deck. Tokens (Rhys, Krenko if you splash, Jetmir), elfball (Marwyn, Ezuri), +1/+1 counter swarms, and basically every green creature deck that floods the board. It pairs beautifully with reanimation and natural-order/tooth-and-nail style tutors that cheat it out for free. When to skip it: if your deck doesn't reliably field 4+ creatures, it's just an 8-mana 5/5 — too slow and clunky. Spellslinger, control, voltron, and small-creature value decks get nothing from it. It's also a "win-more" card if your board is already lethal. Tutor for it, ramp into it, or reanimate it — but only if you go wide.
