Why is this card good?
Despark is one of the best cheap removal spells in any Orzhov-color deck, and the reason is efficiency plus flexibility. For two mana you exile—not destroy—any high-value permanent, dodging indestructible, regeneration, and death triggers. That's huge against the kinds of threats Commander throws at you: planeswalkers, big artifacts (Blightsteel, Wurmcoil), enchantments like Smothering Tithe, expensive commanders, Eldrazi titans, and reanimated bombs.
The mana value 4+ restriction is the catch, but in Commander that's rarely a problem—the scariest permanents almost always cost four or more. It's instant-speed, so you hold it up as an answer and aren't forced to commit early.
Who wants it: essentially every WB and Mardu/Esper/Abzan deck running interaction. It's premium spot removal for control, midrange, and anything that needs to answer game-ending threats without a sorcery-speed wrath.
When to skip it: hyper-aggressive token or aristocrats decks that don't care about opposing bombs, or decks where you'd rather run that slot as a board wipe. It also whiffs on cheap, sticky threats like dorks and small enchantments.
