Why is this card good?

Elegant Parlor is a Boros dual land from Murders at Karlov Manor — and importantly, it carries the basic land types Mountain and Plains. That's the key selling point. Because it's a true dual type, it fetches with Farseek, Wood Elves, and any "search for a Plains or Mountain" effect, and it plays nicely with Path to Exile compensation, snow synergies aside. The surveil 1 on entry is a small but real bonus, smoothing draws and feeding graveyard strategies in a color pair that occasionally wants the bin (reanimator, delirium, or just card selection). Who wants it: any RW deck — aggressive tokens, equipment/Voltron, or midrange — especially those running land tutors. It's a free, strictly-better-than-basic include if you don't mind tapped lands. When to skip it: fast, low-curve aggro and cEDH-adjacent builds that can't afford an ETB-tapped land on turn one. If tempo matters every turn, a painland or untapped dual serves you better. Solid, unflashy fixing — grab it for any non-hyper-competitive Boros list.
