Etherium Sculptor

{1}{U}

Artifact Creature — Vedalken Artificer

LegalRank #435

Artifact spells you cast cost {1} less to cast.

1/2

Why is this card good?

Etherium Sculptor is a cheap, repeatable cost reducer that's an auto-include in any deck slinging a high volume of artifacts. At two mana, it pays for itself almost immediately and snowballs your turns — chaining cheap artifacts, dropping multiple Equipment, or ramping into bigger threats. This shines in dedicated artifact decks: Urza, Lord High Artificer; Breya; Osgir; Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain; Sydri; or any affinity/artifact-storm shell. Combined with other reducers (Foundry Inspector, Cloud Key) and cost-positive rocks like Sol Ring, it enables explosive, mana-positive turns and helps fuel combos and storm counts. It's also a fine early body that's easy to recur. Skip it if artifacts aren't a real theme — reducing one or two rocks a game isn't worth a slot. It's also fragile: a 1/2 dies to everything, and it does nothing the turn you topdeck it with an empty hand. You want it early, alongside a deck built to abuse the discount, not as filler.
