Why is this card good?
Fanatic of Rhonas is one of green's best mana accelerants — when it works. A two-mana creature that taps for four green is absurd ramp, effectively a Priest of Titania that doesn't care about elves, just board state.
The catch is the Ferocious condition: you need a creature with power 4+. In a vacuum that's a real hoop, but plenty of green decks already field big bodies on turn 2-3. Stompy, +1/+1 counter, and big-mana ramp decks (Ghalta, Yeva, Nissa, Goreclaw) hit that threshold easily and turn this into a turn-3 explosion into something giant.
The Eternalize upside is sneaky relevant: it's a 4/4, so the token itself enables Ferocious, and recurring 4 mana from the graveyard is great in grindy decks.
Skip it if your deck runs small creatures or can't reliably field power-4 bodies early — then it's just a worse Llanowar Elves that often only taps for one. It's a payoff card, not a generic ramp piece.
