Why is this card good?
Flowering of the White Tree is a cheap, efficient anthem that punches above its weight in the right shell.
Two mana for a team-wide buff is already fine, but the legendary clause is what makes it special. In a deck stuffed with legends — think a "legendary matters" build, or any commander surrounded by legendary creatures — you're getting +2/+1 and ward across your board. That ward is the underrated part: it taxes spot removal and protects key pieces, including your commander.
Wants it:
- Mono-white or white-heavy legendary tribal decks (Sram, Sisay, Jirina, Soraya).
- Token/go-wide decks that lean nonlegendary still get a solid +1/+1 anthem.
- Anything wanting cheap, sticky commander protection via ward.
Skip it when: your deck has few creatures (spellslinger, control), or runs almost no legendary bodies — then it's just a vanilla two-mana +1/+1 anthem, which is replaceable. It also does nothing the turn it lands beyond pumping, so don't expect immediate impact.
