Why is this card good?
Golgari Rot Farm is a bounce land — a budget fixer that produces two mana from one land, effectively replacing the land you bounce while netting you mana over time.
The catch is real: it enters tapped and sets you back a land drop the turn you play it, which is a tempo hit that matters in faster or more competitive pods. Where it shines is in slower, value-oriented Golgari decks that don't mind the speed bump and appreciate the color fixing plus the mana advantage on later turns.
It also has cute synergies — bouncing a land with an ETB (like a fetch or other Karoo land), or rebuying it with landfall payoffs and "return a land" effects. In token, aristocrats, or graveyard-grind builds running tight budgets, it's solid.
Don't play it in competitive/turbo decks, mana-hungry decks that can't afford the tapped entry, or any build with strong access to untapped duals and shocks. It's a budget-tier card you upgrade out of as your manabase improves.
