Until end of turn, whenever a player taps an Island for mana, that player adds an additional {U}.

Why is this card good?

High Tide is the engine that powers mono-blue and Ux combo/storm decks. For one mana, every Island you tap effectively doubles in value — and with rituals, untap effects, and cantrips chained in a single turn, that snowballs fast into game-ending mana. This is a dedicated storm/combo card, not a generic ramp spell. It wants commanders like Urza, Lord High Artificer, Talrand, or any high-Island-count blue deck looking to combo off in one explosive turn. It pairs beautifully with untappers (Turnabout, Snap, Frantic Search), cost-reducers, and bounce-lands to generate absurd mana for a Comet Storm, Stroke of Genius, or a Laboratory Maniac/Thassa's Oracle finish. Don't play it if you're not building around it. It does nothing on its own — no Islands, no payoff, no combo means a dead card. Decks running heavy nonbasic lands, or that just want incremental value, get far more from rocks or dorks. This is a precision tool for cEDH-adjacent storm shells, not casual ramp.
