, Why is this card good?
Scavenger Grounds is the best graveyard hate land in the format because it costs you almost nothing to include. It taps for colorless mana, slots into any deck regardless of color identity, and gives you a one-sided-ish board wipe of every graveyard at instant speed for just three mana total.
The key advantage over Bojuka Bog or Tormod's Crypt is that it hits all graveyards at once and is repeatable in the sense that it's a land you'll keep until you need it. That makes it excellent against reanimator, dredge/self-mill, Muldrotha, aristocrats, and Tasigur-style decks that lean on their bins.
Decks that want it: anything that doesn't itself depend on its graveyard. It's nearly free interaction for stax, control, and midrange lists. You can even buddy it with another Desert to keep mana up.
Don't play it in graveyard-centric decks (Meren, Muldrotha, Karador) — you'll blow up your own engine. There it's a liability, not insurance.
