Why is this card good?

Shattered Sanctum is one of the best dual lands you can run in any Orzhov (WB) deck, full stop. It's a "Slow Land" — it enters untapped as long as you have two or more other lands, which means it's effectively a tapped land only in your opening turns and an untapped dual for the rest of the game. In a 100-card singleton format where mana consistency wins games, untapped fixing in your colors is premium. Any two-color Orzhov commander wants this: aristocrats (Teysa Karlov), lifegain/drain (Liesa, Vito), or token strategies all benefit from clean, painless WB sources. The only real downside is the early-game tap, so it's slightly worse in hyper-aggressive or low-curve decks that want every land untapped on turns 1-3 — fast combo or stax shells that need to deploy early may prefer painlands or fetches. But for the vast majority of Orzhov decks, this is a near-automatic include. Cheap, painless, and reliable — exactly what midrange and value-oriented builds want.
