Why is this card good?
Stitcher's Supplier is the gold standard one-drop for graveyard-fueled decks. You mill three on enters AND three on death — six cards from a single mana, and that death trigger makes it disgusting with sacrifice synergies.
Where it shines:
- Reanimator — dumping fatties into the yard cheaply, then bringing them back with Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Necromancy.
- Aristocrats (Meren, Teysa, Korvold) — it's a free sac fodder body that mills again when it dies, and ETB recursion (Gravecrawler-style loops) lets you mill repeatedly.
- Self-mill / graveyard value decks running The Gitrog Monster, Muldrotha, or delve/threshold payoffs.
It also enables instant-speed value via flash recursion and chump-blocking — the death trigger means it's never "wasted."
When to skip it: Any deck that isn't using its graveyard. Milling yourself away from key combo pieces or wincons is purely a downside if you can't capitalize, and the random mill can occasionally bin a card you'd rather have drawn.
