Why is this card good?
Talisman of Resilience is premium ramp for any Golgari (BG) deck, and one of the best two-mana rocks available to those colors.
The value is in the speed: dropping it turn two lets you cast a four-drop on turn three, accelerating your whole curve while also fixing both your colors. The 1 damage for colored mana is almost always negligible in Commander's 40-life format—and in BG decks running plenty of life-payment effects, paying life is often upside-aligned with your gameplan, not a real cost. You can also tap it for colorless pain-free when you don't need colored mana.
Who wants it: basically every two-color Golgari commander (Meren, Old Stickfingers, Slimefoot, Hapatra) and BG shards/wedges like Sultai, Jund, or Abzan that prioritize fast, fixed mana.
When to skip it: dedicated mono-color decks (use a Signet/Talisman matching your guild instead), or super-budget decks where it's not strictly necessary. Otherwise, it's a near-autoinclude where the colors fit.
