Why is this card good?

Temple of Epiphany is a solid, low-cost fixing land for any Izzet (U/R) deck. The scry 1 on entry is the key selling point — it smooths your draws and helps set up your next turn, which adds up over a long Commander game. It's effectively a free filter stapled onto a dual land. The catch is it always enters tapped, which is a real tempo cost. In fast, low-curve decks (spellslinger combo, cEDH, aggressive aristocrats splashing red) the tapped land can cost you a critical turn, and you're better off with untapped duals, fastlands, or basics. Where it shines: midrange and casual Izzet decks built around Niv-Mizzet, Veyran, Mizzix, or Kykar, where the game goes long and the scry value outweighs the tempo hit. It's a budget-friendly inclusion that almost any non-competitive U/R deck happily runs. Don't play it if you're pushing for speed or already have enough untapped fixing — tapped lands stack up fast and clog opening hands.
