Gameplan
Flood the board with tokens each turn, then tap Ellyn to dig deep and refill your hand based on how many tokens you made. You snowball card advantage in mono-white—usually its biggest weakness—while building a wide board that closes games through anthems or a big swing. Pick a Background that amplifies tokens or protects you while you grind.
Strengths
- Solves mono-white's card-advantage problem by converting token output into selective draw
- Pairs with any token engine for huge dig (and with doublers, X balloons fast)
- Background slot lets you tune the deck toward aggression, protection, or value
- Cheap to deploy at four mana and immediately impactful
Weaknesses
- Card selection, not raw draw—you only put one card into hand per activation
- Requires tokens made that turn, so a wiped or stalled board shuts the engine off
- Relies on the commander surviving and untapping; targeted removal stalls you hard
- Mono-white still lags on ramp and fast interaction

Pick a high-impact Background—Raised by Giants for a Voltron angle or one that adds protection/value—then tighten the curve with cheap, repeatable token engines and a clean finisher like Craterhoof Behemoth or a mass anthem.
