Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds

Gameplan

Flood the board with token copies, then exponentially multiply them by tapping your nontoken creatures to copy tokens that entered this turn. Make a few big tokens early, then chain copies into a massive go-wide army for a single alpha strike. Ghired turns every token into a snowball that overwhelms the table by turn five or six.

Key Cards

• Wolverine Riders — Makes a token every upkeep so you always have a fresh token to copy with Ghired's ability.
• Mondrak, Glory Dominus — Doubles every token you create, including all of Ghired's copies, for absurd board growth.
• Anointed Procession — Token doubling stacks with Ghired's copy ability to exponentially blow out token counts.
• Craterhoof Behemoth — Turns a wide token army into a lethal alpha strike in one swing.
• Intangible Virtue — Pumps your token horde and grants vigilance so they can attack and still copy.
• Cathars' Crusade — Every token entering pumps your whole team, snowballing alongside Ghired's copies.

Upgrade Path

Add token doublers (Mondrak, Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives) and ETB token engines to maximize Ghired's copy loops, then include untap enablers to combo off in one turn. Prioritize a couple of reliable finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes so wide boards convert to wins. Tighten the mana base with fast ramp (Sol Ring, Rampant Growth, dorks) and add protection like Heroic Intervention to guard against the board wipes that prey on token decks.
