Gameplan

Kate Stewart turns time counters into a token army: every time you put time counters on a permanent (suspend, vanishing, fading, or proliferate-style effects) you spawn 1/1 Soldiers, then go wide and swing. Her attack trigger lets you dump to pump the whole team by the number of time counters you control, threatening lethal alpha strikes. Turn to turn you suspend cheap threats and seed counters, build a board of tokens, and use Jeskai interaction to protect the engine until you crash in.

• Jhoira of the Ghitu — Suspends any nonland card for , reliably seeding time counters that trigger Kate every upkeep as they tick down.
• As Foretold — Adds a time counter each turn, making a Soldier on your upkeep and letting you cast spells for free.
• Inexorable Tide — Proliferate on every spell cast pumps out Soldiers and ticks suspended cards toward casting.
• Contagion Engine — Repeatable proliferate doubles as a token machine and pushes time counters off (or onto) permanents en masse.
• Cathars' Crusade — Each Soldier you make grows your whole board, turning Kate's wide token stream into a real clock.
• Anointed Procession — Doubles every Soldier token Kate creates for an explosive board.

Upgrade Path

Add mana acceleration and cost reducers (Sol Ring, Smothering Tithe, Jeska's Will) to make her pump castable the same turn you swing, and lean harder into proliferate engines like Karn's Bastion and Evolution Sage to maximize triggers. Round out with token doublers, a Craterhoof-style finisher, and Jeskai staple interaction (Cyclonic Rift, Teferi's Protection, Swords to Plowshares) to protect the board against the sweepers that punish go-wide decks.
