Sacrifice another Serpent: Choose one —
• Tap target permanent. Its activated abilities can't be activated this turn.
• Koma gains indestructible until end of turn.
Koma drops on turn 5-7 as an uncounterable 6/6 that floods the board with a 3/3 Coil token every upkeep (including opponents'), giving you an ever-growing army to sacrifice for free tapping and indestructibility. You ramp hard early, protect Koma, and grind out value until your Coils overwhelm the table or fuel a payoff. Use the tap mode as soft Stax to lock down mana rocks, attackers, and blockers while you build an insurmountable advantage.
Add fast ramp (Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Three Visits) so Koma lands early, plus token doublers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives to multiply Coils. Layer in card advantage (Skullclamp, Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project) and a closer like Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede to convert the board. Lean harder into Stax with Winter Orb-style effects since Koma's free tokens let you sacrifice for taps while your opponents stall.
