Korlash's power and toughness are each equal to the number of Swamps you control.
: Regenerate Korlash.
Grandeur — Discard another card named Korlash, Heir to Blackblade: Search your library for up to two Swamp cards, put them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.
Korlash is a mono-black Voltron/midrange commander that grows huge off your Swamp count while being nearly impossible to kill thanks to cheap regeneration. You ramp Swamps, abuse black's tutors and recursion, and beat down with a regenerating threat backed by removal and card advantage. The Grandeur ability is mostly irrelevant in singleton, so the real engine is flooding the board with Swamps via lands-matter and ramp pieces.
Lean harder into mana doublers (Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, Magus of the Coffers) and X-spell payoffs like Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate so you aren't reliant on connecting with Korlash. Add evasion and protection (Whispersilk Cloak, Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots) plus fast ramp like Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual, and tighten the removal suite with Toxic Deluge, Damnation, and efficient tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor) to control the board until your mana takes over.
