BuildCard details

The Commander

Whenever a Warrior attacks, you may have its controller create a 1/1 white Warrior creature token that's tapped and attacking.

{W}{U}{B}{R}{G}: Untap all attacking creatures. They gain trample, lifelink, and haste until end of turn. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase. Activate only during combat.

Guide

Gameplan

Najeela deploys Warriors, swings wide, and uses combat to snowball: each attacker spawns more tokens, and her five-color ability buys infinite combat phases once you have the mana to chain them. You win by going extremely tall/wide in a single turn or by generating infinite combats with a mana engine. Early turns build Warrior bodies and ramp; the kill turn loops attacks until everyone is dead.

Strengths

  • Built-in combo: with a mana source like Druids' Repository or Cryptolith Rite plus enough Warriors, she generates infinite combats and tokens
  • Access to all five colors gives the best tutors, ramp, and interaction in the format
  • Snowballs combat fast even without the combo via free Warrior tokens
  • Lifelink on the combo ability stabilizes against burn or racing

Weaknesses

  • Heavily commander-dependent; without Najeela the deck stalls
  • Vulnerable to board wipes, Fog effects, and combat-step interaction (Settle the Wreckage, Comeuppance)
  • The infinite combo needs Najeela plus a mana-on-attack engine, so disruption to either piece breaks it
  • Five-color manabase can be greedy and slow if underbuilt

Key Cards

  • Druids' Repository — Banks mana when creatures attack, fueling repeated activations of Najeela's ability for infinite combats.
  • Cryptolith Rite — Turns every Warrior token into a mana source, enabling the infinite combat loop.
  • Aggravated Assault — Redundant infinite-combat enabler that pairs with any mana doubler or Najeela's own ramp.
  • Derevi, Empyrial Tactician — Provides untap-on-attack value and stax-style control to protect your combat turns.
  • Smothering Tithe — Generates Treasures to power Najeela's five-pip activation reliably.
  • Captivating Crew — Steals blockers/threats and turns them into attackers under Najeela's trigger.

Upgrade Path

Tighten the manabase with original duals, fetches, and fast mana (Mana Crypt, Sol Ring, Mana Vault) so you can land Najeela early and activate reliably. Add efficient tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Finale of Devastation) to assemble the Repository/Cryptolith Rite combo, and run protection like Heroic Intervention and Silence to shield your kill turn. Trim slow Warrior fillers for interaction and ramp to push toward a high-power/cEDH build.
