Gameplan
Nyssa is a mono-blue card-advantage engine: build a board of cheap, recurring artifacts (Treasures, Clues, Food, artifact tokens), then attack to sacrifice them for a huge draw and to tap down attackers/blockers. You use the overflowing card advantage to fuel control, counters, and an artifact-fueled finisher while the no-maximum-hand-size clause lets you hoard answers. Pair her with a Doctor partner to add a second color or extra synergy, but she runs fine mono-U as a draw-go control deck.
Strengths
- Repeatable, scalable card draw that snowballs harder than almost any mono-blue commander
- Built-in tempo: tapping creatures clears blockers for her and shuts down opposing attacks
- No maximum hand size means you can stockpile answers without discarding
- Cheap to cast at four mana and easy to rebuild around

Weaknesses
- Needs to attack and have artifacts to sacrifice, so she's vulnerable to removal and creature-light starts
- Mono-blue (or two-color with a Doctor) means limited removal for resolved permanents
- Sacrificing your artifacts can deplete your mana rocks and board if not careful
- No innate way to convert all those cards into damage without a dedicated finisher

Add fast mana and token-tripling pieces (Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Academy Manufactor) plus reliable artifact-token engines so every attack sacrifices a stack. Lean into infinite-token or untap combos with outlets to convert Nyssa's draws into a kill, and choose a Doctor partner that adds removal or a closing threat. Round out with strong blue interaction (Cyclonic Rift, Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship) to protect the engine.
