Mana value2Rank#6,250
BuildCard details

The Commander

Whenever Radha attacks, you may add {R}{R}.

{T}: Add {G}.

Guide

Gameplan

Radha is a cheap, aggressive Gruul mana-dork commander that ramps you with {G} and floods extra red mana when she swings. Use her to deploy big creatures ahead of curve, then turn sideways and convert combat into explosive mana for huge follow-up spells. You win by beating down with fatties and overrunning the board before opponents stabilize.

Strengths

  • Two-mana commander that both ramps and pressures life totals immediately
  • Attack trigger funds X-spells, double-spell turns, and overrun finishers
  • Hard to keep down in aggressive Gruul mid-power pods
  • Color identity gives access to the best ramp, fight removal, and big creatures

Weaknesses

  • Mana ability and attack trigger do nothing while she's removed or chump-blocked
  • No card advantage engine baked in—can run out of gas
  • Vulnerable to board wipes that erase your aggressive starts
  • Red-green lacks counterspells and clean targeted interaction

Key Cards

  • Xenagos, God of Revels — Doubles a creature's power and grants haste, turning Radha's attacks into one-shot kills.
  • Craterhoof Behemoth — Classic Gruul finisher that the attack-trigger mana and ramp easily power out for lethal alpha strikes.
  • Garruk's Uprising — Gives trample and refills your hand whenever big creatures enter, fixing Radha's card-advantage problem.
  • Embercleave — Cheap with a wide or aggressive board and makes any attacker a brutal threat.
  • Berserk — Doubles power and forces lethal commander damage on a single connecting creature.

Upgrade Path

Add fast mana (Sol Ring, Birds of Paradise, Cultivate, Skyshroud Claim) and card advantage (Beast Whisperer, Garruk's Uprising) so you never stall. Lean into power-doublers and haste enablers (Xenagos, Fireshrieker, Lightning Greaves) to make Radha lethal in two swings. Tighten removal with Beast Within, Chaos Warp, and fight spells, and consider an infinite combo like Temur Sabertooth + a ramp creature to cap the curve.

Core Cards

The most-played cards for this commander, built from aggregated deck data (the Mythic Graph). Build public decks to seed it.

Win Conditions

  • ▸Alpha strike with an overrun effect like Craterhoof Behemoth or Triumph of the Hordes
  • ▸One-shot commander/voltron damage via doublers like Xenagos or Berserk plus Embercleave
  • ▸Grinding incremental beatdown with hasty, evasive fatties

Archetypes

  • Gruul Aggro/Stompy — Radha curves out fast and her attack mana fuels constant pressure with efficient beaters.
  • Big Mana Ramp — Her {G} tap plus {R}{R} on attack let you cast oversized threats and X-spells ahead of schedule.
  • Voltron — She enables hasty, pumped single attackers that close games via commander or trample damage.
