Each other creature you control enters with an additional vigilance counter on it.
, Remove three counters from among creatures you control: Mill three cards, then return a permanent card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Tayam turns counters into a recursion engine: load creatures with +1/+1 or vigilance counters, then repeatedly activate to mill yourself and reanimate low-cost permanents, looping value creatures and enchantments into a grindy, inevitable advantage. You spend early turns building a counter-rich board, then chain Tayam activations to recur sacrifice fodder, ramp, and disruption until you assemble a combo or simply bury the table in resurrected permanents.
Add counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Kalonian Hydra) and proliferate to multiply activations, then build toward a deterministic combo with Ashnod's Altar plus a recurrable creature and a drain payoff like Blood Artist. Improve the mana base and ramp (Sakura-Tribe Elder, signets, Arcane Signet) so you can activate Tayam multiple times per turn, and include protection like Heroic Intervention and Swords to Plowshares to defend the engine.
