Gameplan

Will Kenrith is a mono-blue planeswalker commander that wins by slow card advantage and a spell-copying engine. Use +2 to neuter attackers and protect Will, -2 to refill your hand and discount your instants and sorceries, and grind toward the -8 emblem that copies every spell you cast. You play the long game as a draw-go control deck, eventually doubling up counters, removal, and burst card draw to bury the table.

Strengths

  • Built-in board control: +2 turns two threats into vanilla 0/3s with no abilities, blanking commanders and combat
  • -2 is a Divination plus a recurring cost reducer, making your blue spells dramatically cheaper
  • -8 emblem is a game-ending spell-copying engine for a deck full of instants and sorceries
  • Self-protecting commander that generates value the turn it lands and is castable repeatedly
  • Can be played solo or with partner Rowan Kenrith for a stronger superfriends shell

Weaknesses

  • Mono-blue gives no answers to resolved enchantments and limited artifact removal
  • Slow clock; the deck rarely closes quickly and relies on reaching ultimate

Add fast mana and loyalty doublers—Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Doubling Season, and The Chain Veil—to reach the -8 faster. Bring in efficient blue interaction (Counterspell, Swan Song, Fierce Guardianship, Cyclonic Rift) and proliferate effects like Karn's Bastion to protect and accelerate Will. For the highest power, pivot toward a tighter spellslinger or stax-control list with strong instant-speed payoffs that the emblem can copy into a kill.
