Why is this card good?

Unexpected Windfall is a sneaky-good value engine for red, a color that historically struggles with card advantage. For four mana you net a card (discard one, draw two) plus two Treasures — effectively turning the spell into a ramp piece that also smooths your hand. The Treasures matter: they fix colors, fuel artifact synergies, and let you cast something the same turn, so this often "refunds" much of its cost. Who wants it: - Artifact/Treasure decks — Mishra, Magda, Korvold, Prosper love the tokens for sacrifice fodder and triggers. - Reanimator/discard-matters decks (Anje, Chainer) that want to pitch fatties to the graveyard. - Spellslinger lists needing instant-speed card flow and mana for big turns. When to skip it: in lean, aggressive red decks where you have no graveyard payoff and don't want to lose a card to the discard. It's also redundant in decks already swimming in Treasure ramp. Best when the discard is upside, not a tax.
