Why is this card good?

Marionette Apprentice is a budget Marionette Master on a body, and it's quietly excellent in the right shell. The drain triggers on both creatures and artifacts dying, and the fabricate gives you a free Servo to immediately sacrifice. This is an aristocrats payoff, plain and simple. It wants outlets (Ashnod's Altar, Goblin Bombardment, Phyrexian Altar) and fodder. Token decks love it — go-wide commanders like Marneus Calgar, Krenko-style swarms in Mardu/Rakdos, or treasure-makers like Prosper or Magda where you crack artifacts constantly. Each treasure cracked, each clue sacrificed, each token blocked pings the table. The drain stacks beautifully with other Blood Artist effects — run it alongside Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Cruel Celebrant to multiply triggers into kills. Don't play it in decks that don't generate steady death triggers; a single 1/1 ping per turn is irrelevant in fair midrange or voltron builds. It needs density of sacrifice fodder to earn its slot.
