Why is this card good?

Open the Armory is a cheap, efficient tutor that's secretly one of white's better card-selection tools — a color that historically struggles for consistency. At two mana, it grabs the exact Aura or Equipment your deck is built around. The card is at its best in Voltron decks. If you're piloting commanders like Sram, Light of the Mardus or Galea, Kindred of Rest, this fetches your wincon equipment (Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Colossus Hammer) or key Auras like Daybreak Coronet or Shielded by Faith. It also slots into enchantress/aura matters decks needing a specific Sword or pacifism effect. The big upside: it can grab protective gear (hexproof/shroud) to keep your commander alive, or the equipment that closes the game. Skip it if equipment/auras are just incidental in your build — a tutor that only finds one narrow card type is dead weight unless those cards genuinely matter. You want a critical mass of strong targets, ideally including a haymaker worth digging for.
