Why is this card good?
Cavern of Souls is the gold standard land for any tribal deck. The uncounterable clause is its headline feature — in a format full of Counterspell, Force of Will, and protective interaction, slamming your commander down with no questions asked is huge, especially if that commander has been countered repeatedly and you're trying to land it for the third time.
It shines in any creature-type-focused deck: Slivers, Dragons, Elves, Goblins, Vampires, Merfolk, Zombies — basically any tribal commander. It also fixes mana for that type, which is a real bonus in multicolor tribal lists like Sliver Overlord or The Ur-Dragon.
The catch: outside tribal, it's just a worse Wastes that taps for colorless. The any-color mana is locked to one creature type, so in a non-tribal deck it does nothing your basics don't do better. Don't run it as generic fixing — only include it when you have a meaningful density of one creature type, ideally including your commander.
