Why is this card good?
Liliana, Dreadhorde General is one of the best black planeswalkers for Commander, and it's because she does everything a creature-centric black deck wants at once.
The static ability is the key: drawing a card every time your creatures die turns her into a card-advantage engine in any deck that's already sacrificing or trading creatures. Her +1 feeds that engine by making 2/2 Zombies, and her ultimate (which arrives faster than it looks given the +1) is a brutal, asymmetric board wipe that often wins the game.
Wants her:
- Aristocrats (Meren, Korvold) where creatures die constantly
- Token decks that don't mind chump-blocking
- Any black midrange/control deck needing repeatable advantage and a Damnation-on-a-stick (-4)
Skip her in low-creature spellslinger or artifact decks where her static does nothing, and in fast combo lists where a six-mana grindy walker is too slow. She's a value/midrange card, not a combo enabler — play her where bodies are expendable.
