Why is this card good?

Savannah is one of the original dual lands, and in Commander it's basically a strict upgrade to any tapped GW dual you'd otherwise run. The key advantages: it enters untapped, taps for two colors, and crucially carries both Forest and Plains types. That typing is what makes it more than just a fixer. It's fetchable by Wooded Foothills, Windswept Heath, and friends, plus any "search for a Forest/Plains" effect. It also turns on Knight of the Reliquary, Skyshroud Ranger, and ramp like Farseek/Nature's Lore (which grab any Forest). For Landfall and lands-matter decks, that synergy adds real value. Play it in any GW deck wanting consistent, untapped mana — Selesnya tokens, Voltron, +1/+1 counters, Trostani lands builds, basically anything two-color or where GW is your core. The only reason not to run it is price: it's expensive ($300+). If budget matters, Temple Garden or Canopy Vista give you the same dual typing for fetchability at a fraction of the cost, with only a minor downside.
