Why is this card good?
Brushland is a clean, no-drawback-when-it-matters dual land for any Selesnya (GW) deck. The pain is trivial in Commander, where you start at 40 life and most games don't punish you for losing a single point per tap. The colorless option means you can avoid the damage entirely when casting generic costs.
This is a staple in two-color GW decks and a solid include in any three-or-more-color deck running green and white. It enters untapped, which is the key selling point — fixing without tempo loss is precious, and Brushland never tells you it comes in tapped or demands a sacrifice.
When NOT to play it: heavily mono-colored decks (you don't need the fixing), or lifegain-matters/life-as-resource decks where you'd rather not ping yourself — though honestly even there the damage is negligible. Budget-wise it's cheap, so the main reason to skip it is simply having enough untapped duals already.
Verdict: an efficient, low-cost fixing land that earns its slot in essentially any GW manabase.
