Why is this card good?

Wonder is one of the most efficient mass-evasion enablers in blue, because you don't even need to cast it — you just need it in your graveyard and an Island in play. That graveyard reliance is the whole pitch. In decks with self-mill, looting, or sacrifice outlets, Wonder costs you essentially nothing and turns your entire board into an aerial assault. This is huge for go-wide token strategies and +1/+1 counter/Voltron-adjacent decks that produce lots of bodies but lack a way to push damage through clogged ground stalls. Pair it with anthems or a wide board and games end fast. Best homes: tokens, Simic/Bant counter decks, any blue deck with discard/mill engines and an actual basic Island (not just Triome lands — you need the Island subtype). Don't play it if your deck runs few/no true Islands, has no graveyard-filling tools, or wins through combo/control rather than combat. It's a combat finisher, dead weight in decks that aren't attacking.
