Gameplan

Suit up Benton and swing early thanks to trample and haste, converting combat damage into a massive symmetric card draw that refuels you for the next attack. You're a midrange Selesnya beatdown deck that uses the extra cards to deploy threats faster than the table can answer them, then closes via commander damage or an overrun. The catch is the draw is symmetric, so you build to weaponize your own card flow while making your attacks lethal enough that opponents never cash in their cards.

Strengths

  • Cheap 3-mana commander with built-in haste and trample for immediate pressure
  • Massive card advantage that keeps your hand stocked even in long games
  • Trample means counters/anthems convert directly into bigger draws and unblockable damage
  • Can be a Doctor's companion, opening flexible partner builds

Weaknesses

  • Share Intelligence also refuels the player you hit, accelerating your opponents
  • Dies to spot removal easily as a 3/3-sized body before buffs
  • No evasion beyond trample, so big blockers wall him
  • Symmetric draw can revive a flooded or stalled opponent you'd rather keep starved
  • GW lacks the blue tools (Notion Thief, etc.) to one-sidedly exploit extra draws
