Why is this card good?

Academy Manufactor triples your token economy, and that's deceptively powerful. Every Clue, Food, or Treasure you make becomes all three at once — turning a single trigger into card draw (Clue), lifegain/sacrifice fodder (Food), and ramp/fixing (Treasure) simultaneously. It shines in decks built around any of these token types: - Treasure decks (Prosper, Dockside-style ramp, Magda) suddenly generate Clues and Food on the side. - Food decks (Gyome, Peregrin Took, Ellivere) get explosive ramp and draw they normally lack. - Artifact/token synergy decks with payoffs like Pia Nalaar, Reckless Fireweaver, or sacrifice outlets — three tokens per trigger fuels everything. The real power is enabling sacrifice and "whenever an artifact enters" engines while passively snowballing your resources across all three axes. When not to play it: if your deck doesn't reliably make at least one of these token types, it's just a 3-mana 2/2 vanilla with no payoff. It needs density of token generators to earn its slot.
