Why is this card good?
Kindred Dominance is a one-sided wrath for tribal decks — and that's the whole pitch. You name your tribe, sweep the rest of the board, and walk away with your army intact while everyone else starts over.
The best homes are dedicated tribal decks: Edgar Markov (Vampires), Krenko (Goblins), Sliver Overlord, Wilhelt (Zombies), Najeela, or any creature-type-focused commander. In those decks it's strictly better than a normal board wipe because you keep your developed board while resetting the table — a massive tempo and card-advantage swing.
It also works as a flexible removal sweeper even outside tribal: name a type nobody has (or one of your own creatures' types) to clear specific threats.
Don't play it in decks with diverse creature types, token strategies producing mixed creatures, or any midrange goodstuff build — you'll blow up half your own board. At seven mana, it's also slow, so you want a clear tribal payoff to justify the cost over cheaper, symmetrical wraths.
