Why is this card good?
Scrubland is one of the original dual lands, and it's exactly as good as the others — premium fixing for any W/B deck.
The reason it's elite: it's a Plains and a Swamp that enters untapped, with no drawback whatsoever. That means it counts for cards that care about basic land types (Urborg, fetchlands like Marsh Flats, Knight of the Reliquary, Scapeshift), it dodges most non-basic hate that hits "lands that enter tapped," and it never costs you life or tempo. Compared to a tapland, shockland, or pain land, the untapped-no-cost combo is unmatched.
Any two-color W/B commander wants this — aristocrats (Teysa, Karlov), lifegain/lifeloss builds, control/stax shells, or anything splashing into black removal and white wraths.
When to skip it: if your deck is mono-white or mono-black, or if you're on a tight budget — Scrubland carries a steep reserved-list price tag. Tango lands or Godless Shrine are far cheaper substitutes that play nearly as well outside fetchland synergies.
