Why is this card good?

Undercity Sewers is one of the best "free" dual lands you can run in any Dimir-based deck. The reason it ranks so high is simple: it's a true Island Swamp, meaning it fetches with Fabled Passage, Prismatic Vista, and any fetchland that grabs basic land types, and it benefits from typal effects. That alone makes it more flexible than a generic tapland. The surveil 1 on entry is real value, not just flavor. In graveyard-matters decks — reanimator, self-mill, spellslinger with delve/escape, aristocrats wanting fodder — you're either smoothing your draw or stocking the yard. It also turns on delirium and surveil payoffs incrementally. The only downside is it enters tapped, which matters in fast/cEDH lists where tempo is king. If your deck wants to land a turn-1 dork or hold up early interaction, a tapland slows you down. Run it in basically any non-competitive UB deck. Skip it only if you're hyper-optimized for speed or your manabase is already all untapped duals.
