Why is this card good?

Free spells, but you have to earn it. Spinerock Knoll digs four deep on entry and stashes a card you can later cast for free — provided an opponent took 7+ damage in a turn. In Commander, where life totals are 40 and combat/burn hits arrive in bursts, clearing that threshold is easier than it looks, especially in aggressive red decks. This shines in burn, big-mana red, and aggressive Voltage/voltron shells — think commanders like Torbran, Krenko, or any deck swinging for huge chunks. The hideaway also smooths your draws and can hide a bomb (Wildfire, a big dragon, an extra-turn spell) to deploy when the damage comes. The catch: it enters tapped, the trigger isn't guaranteed, and you may sit on a dead card for turns. Skip it in lands-matter ramp decks that won't reliably deal 7 damage, in slow control builds, or any deck where you can't reliably exploit the payoff. It's a build-around utility land, not a generic include.
