Build a critical mass of legendary permanents and spells so every land drop and spell turn refills your hand off Shanid's draw trigger, then grind the table out with card advantage and an aggressive legendary creature suite carrying menace. You play to the board early, leverage the engine to out-resource opponents, and close with wide menace beatdowns or a legendary-fueled combo.
Raise the legendary density and add tutors like Sisay, Weatherlight Captain and Captain Sisay so Shanid's engine never stalls, while including lifegain or fast clocks to offset the life loss. Tighten the mana with legendary utility lands (Karn's Bastion, Hall of Heliod's Generosity) and add free or cheap legendary spells to chain triggers. Round out with strong Mardu interaction (Deflecting Swat, Anguished Unmaking, Fierce Guardianship) and recursion to protect the commander and keep the cards flowing.
