You play a Mardu midrange/control shell that protects the monarchy, grinds value, and eventually wins through accumulated card advantage or an Assassin-based combo. Defend the crown, out-resource the table, then close.
Tighten the manabase with fetches, duals, and fast mana (Mana Crypt, Arcane Signet) so the three colors come online consistently. Add a compact win like a sacrifice-token combo or Aetherflux Reservoir, plus more crown protection (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, instant-speed removal) so you keep the monarchy uninterrupted. Lean into Skullclamp and aristocrat payoffs to convert tokens into both cards and lethal drain.
