Win by grinding 40+ life through repeated 3-damage triggers or by going wide with cheap historic permanents.
Lower your curve and add free or near-free historic spells—Mishra's Bauble, Mox Opal, Lotus Petal, Ornithopter—so each turn produces multiple triggers. Add cost reducers and ritual mana (Birgi, Jhoira's Familiar, cheap Sagas) to enable explosive multi-cast turns, and protect Surtr with cheap equipment and red protection like Heroic Intervention's analogs or counterspell-baiting redundancy.
