Why is this card good?
Blackblade Reforged is one of the cheapest ways to turn your commander into a one-shot kill threat. By the mid-game you likely control 6-10 lands, meaning a +6/+6 to +10/+10 buff that scales the longer the game goes. The legendary equip cost makes it ideal for commander-centric builds where you're recasting the same creature anyway.
It shines in Voltron decks — think Sram, Light of Heaven; Wyleth, Soul of Steel; or any mono-colored commander that wants to connect for commander damage. It's especially strong with evasion or double strike (a +20/+20 trample swing ends games). Landfall and lands-matter decks (Tatyova, Lord Windgrace) also love it as a payoff for high land counts.
Skip it if your commander isn't your primary win condition, or in token/go-wide and spellslinger decks where a single fat creature does little. The generic equip cost is brutal, so it really only works gluing onto legends.
