Whenever Aurelia attacks for the first time each turn, untap all creatures you control. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase.
Aurelia is a Boros aggro/voltron commander that doubles your combat each turn by granting an extra combat phase and untapping your team. Build a wide or tall board, swing once to trigger the second combat, and crash through for lethal—often doubling damage from Aurelia herself or your whole army. You ramp into her early, protect her, and stack extra-combat and damage-doubling effects to end games fast.
Add fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Smothering Tithe) and combat enablers like Aggravated Assault, Combat Celebrant, and Bear Umbra to chain extra phases. Lean into damage doublers (Gisela, Dictate of the Twins-style effects) and protection (Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Teferi's Protection) so Aurelia survives removal. Tighten card advantage with Sword of Fire and Ice, Esper Sentinel, and Mind's Eye to avoid running out of gas.
