Gameplan

Yisan is a mono-green toolbox engine: each turn you pay and tap to add a verse counter, tutoring a creature with mana value equal to the verse count directly onto the battlefield. You climb the verse curve to assemble ramp, value, and combo pieces in a precise order, snowballing into either an overwhelming board or a deterministic loop.

• Seedborn Muse — Untaps Yisan every turn so you can fetch multiple creatures across a turn cycle.
• Quick Sliver — A 1-drop that lets you activate Yisan at instant speed for explosive end-of-turn tutoring.
• Wirewood Symbiote — Bounces an Elf to untap Yisan for a second activation each turn, accelerating the verse climb.
• Temur Sabertooth — Untaps Yisan via creature bounce and protects key pieces from removal.
• Birthing Pod — A redundant creature-chaining engine that complements Yisan's curve-climbing toolbox.
• Concordant Crossroads — Gives fetched creatures haste so combo and beatdown pieces act immediately.

Upgrade Path

Add more untap enablers (Seedborn Muse, Wirewood Symbiote, Temur Sabertooth, Quick Sliver) and haste sources so Yisan generates multiple tutors per turn cycle. Tighten the curve with one strong creature at each mana value to form a deterministic combo chain, then back it with fast mana like Gaea's Cradle, Priest of Titania, and Cradle of Vitality. Include protection (Heroic Intervention, Lightning Greaves) since Yisan is fragile and central to the deck.
