Why is this card good?
Fact or Fiction is one of the best instant-speed card advantage spells in blue, full stop. For four mana you dig five deep and net somewhere between one and four cards, plus you stock your graveyard — which is often a feature, not a bug.
The "opponent separates" clause sounds like a drawback, but it rarely matters. Whichever way they split, you get value, and in multiplayer the pile-splitter is making a guess about which cards you want. You almost always come out ahead.
Who wants it: Any blue deck that plays at instant speed, but it shines in graveyard-centric strategies — reanimator, spellslinger with flashback/delve, and decks running [[Snapcaster Mage]] or [[Crucible of Worlds]] effects. Filling the yard while drawing is pure upside there.
When to skip it: If you're a hard control or aristocrats deck with no graveyard payoff and need raw selection, [[Mystic Confluence]] or counterspell density may serve better. It's also weak when you're desperate for one specific answer — opponents will deny it.
