When Dong Zhou enters, target creature an opponent controls deals damage equal to its power to that player.
Dong Zhou is a mono-red Voltron/aggro general whose ETB lets you punish opponents with their own creatures—often killing them on the way out. You play him on turn five, fling damage at a player using their biggest threat, then either suit him up or recur him via blink/sacrifice for repeatable removal-as-burn. The deck closes games by combining direct burn, hasty aggression, and the punishing ETB to grind life totals down fast.
Add fast mana like Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, and red rituals to deploy Dong Zhou and equipment ahead of curve. Lean into blink (Conjurer's Closet) and free sacrifice outlets (Goblin Bombardment, Ashnod's Altar) to weaponize the ETB repeatedly, and include Kiki-Jiki for copy-based bursts. Round out with red's best card advantage (Outpost Siege, Wheel of Fortune) and protection (Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots) to keep your threat sticky.
