Zuko is a mono-attacker that snowballs through combat: connect once, grow a +1/+1 counter, and use Firebending mana plus a steady stream of cheap noncreature spells (granting first strike) to push damage through. You curve out a low aggressive board, suit Zuko up, and close fast with commander damage while burn and spellslinger payoffs punish any blockers.
Tighten the curve and add evasion/protection (Whispersilk Cloak, Swiftfoot Boots, Sword of Feast and Famine) so Zuko reliably connects. Lean into cheap, high-impact noncreature spells and spell-velocity payoffs (Guttersnipe, Young Pyromancer, Underworld Breach) to maximize the first-strike trigger, and add efficient ramp and reanimation/recast insurance to recover from removal.
