Why is this card good?
Terminate is one of the cleanest, most efficient creature removal spells in Rakdos colors. Two mana, instant speed, no regeneration, and crucially — no targeting restrictions or conditions. It kills anything from a mana dork to a hexproof-less commander to a 15/15 trampler with equal ease.
The downside is right there in the text: "Destroy." Indestructible creatures, ward, and especially commanders that just go back to the command zone all blunt its value. In Commander, where threats often dodge destruction or simply recur, hard removal that exiles (Anguished Unmaking, Vraska's Contempt) is frequently better at the cost of more mana.
Play it in any aggressive or midrange Rakdos/Mardu/Grixis/Jund deck that wants cheap interaction to clear blockers or answer fast threats early — it's premium in lower-budget builds and tempo-focused lists.
Skip it if your meta is full of indestructible/recursive threats, or if you'd rather pay a bit more to exile. As a 2-mana answer, though, it's almost never bad.
